Clear night sky

I took this composition from a comic. I thought it was neat.

Emo month?

Life is like Tetris

Each big and small aspect of life representing a block. Student loans, utility bills, rent, people’s expectations, my own expectations, dishes, obligations, health issues, job, food, laundry, family, etc. They’ve been cluttering up. C’mon now. You got this!

Death

The ominous presence. One of the ultimate absolutes. Somedays, I feel that it’s near. Other days, I sense my time will end before I pass 35. Most of the time, I feel it’ll never come. As I grow older, it becomes more tangible. Regardless of when it’ll happen, it’s definitely something to give careful thought about. The more you understand it, the more prepared you’ll be when it comes.

Amazing, yet tragic..

There are so many great people out there, yet they’re so hard to find. Naturally, nature hides anything precious. It’s a shame that I’ll never get to meet half of them in my lifetime. I’m fortunate to know quite a few. There are more of them out there. I must search everywhere. Look everyday. And eventually, I’ll find a way.

Pals

It has been awhile since I've posted anything. Life has been super busy. Here's another sketch that proves that I existed at one point in the universe. What are they looking at? Whatever it is...you can be sure that it's serious.

More Rough Sketches

I’m addicted to soda. It tastes so good and I feel so alive for that half hour or so before the crash. It goes so good with burgers, pizza, and other various junk foods. I feel tired and bored when I don’t have it. It’s bad for you teeth, breath, and health. Gonna ease off of it and get the addiction under control.

I found that the random background elements somewhat help the composition so I left it. Overall I was just too lazy to erase it and think of something to fill the background. The bottle is a little warped. There is lots of incomplete stuff to learn from. But it’ll do as a rough sketch for now. Shaky Thumbs Up!

“Where’d our shoes go?”

“I dunno. But it’s neat that we’re sitting on thin air.”

More drawing for 11/2007

I want to paint this one someday. Now that I'm looking at this, I don't think I like the girl giving off the typical quiet, introverted, innocent vibe. I'll probably switch roles and have her be the "talker", saying something deep and insightful, while the guy listens with adoration and discovers similarities on outlooks of life.
Ali vs Frazier. I found a picture of this and had to draw it. I don't know which bout this is in their trilogy of fights, but the pose of Ali is just so "Ali". And by that I mean the it is elusive, quick, cocky, confident, and full of ego. "Missed me, Sucka!"

Frazier is probably thinking, "You got away from that one, but I got more surprises for you."

These were fun.
